High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is something I’ve been dabbling in lately.
Twenty seconds of intense, all-out activity followed by 10 seconds of less-intense recovery for a total of eight sets (or just four minutes) of this high-low intensity pairing.
Apparently, this kind of intense exercise causes a longer after-burn in between training.
All I know is, there is now a thread of tiredness that runs through my days . . . if I don’t think about it, it’s fine. It’s killing me softly though.
Too much coffee. Too much coffee and Gatorade. It’s a hell of a mix. If you’re ever tired in the morning, just try that mix, and tell me what you think. — Kevin Garnett, power forward for the Boston Celtics
