Letters of Life

Ambient Cover

This is a dreamy cover of the Billy Idol hit, Eyes Without a Face. The instrumental bridge is brilliantly reflective, verging on melancholic, with a simple riff that I want to play on the keys.

It’s one of those evenings when dishes need to be washed and put away, another laundry load to be done, the folded clothes put away, and more constructive things than blogging cry for my attention. I haven’t the energy.

Instead, I’m thinking of other places, other moods. . . sleeping in (non-destructive) sunlight again.

  1. I don’t know if you’ve ever watched this, but I’ve ever done a paper on this video alone, up to more than three thousand words. It really does say a lot for a video barely past four minutes.

I’ve inferred it to reflect the ever-changing perspective of beauty, and how members of society (especially teenagers) have an obsession with changing their appearances according to the way other more glamorous, rich and famous members of society portray beauty to be; despite the fact that beauty has no fixed definition.
It was a good video for me to utilize in my project, and I think it would be useful for anyone studying trends of society… something I’ve noticed that you take an interest in.

I hope you don’t mind me sharing this with you~

Tell me what you think.
