Thoughts in Transition

Already November?

October has been a special month in so many ways. The most important was that I decided to go on a personal season of Lent the second time around in 2011. As theologian Oswald Chambers wrote, “Unless we are experiencing the hurt of facing every deception about ourselves, we have hindered the work of the Word of God in our lives.”

I have about 9 days more to go and yes, I will post what I’ve learned in the days to come.

Such a lot has happened, within the sphere of friends close and less close, family, spiritual family, the ties that bind.

Stay tuned.

Friendship that insists on agreement on all matters is not worth the name. Friendship to be real must ever sustain the weight of honest differences, however sharp they be.  — Mohandas K. Gandhi
