About

Founded by clinicians

Featherglass exists to give care a memory.

One that gets stronger at every transition.

01Why we exist

The story

The clinicians were skilled and attentive. The system they worked in was built to forget.

Dr. Benjamin Israel's clinical work has spanned inpatient psychiatry, specialized trauma care and addiction treatment. In every setting, patients arrived after years of care elsewhere, and almost none of it came with them.

He still keeps a small practice, and Featherglass is built around the work he sees every week: complex histories, hard transitions, and patients who shouldn't have to retell the hardest parts of their lives at every new door.

03Where we're going

Our approach

Where Featherglass is going.

Why we start where we do, and how the platform grows.

The landscape

Clinical AI tools, EHRs and referral platforms are all adding history and context. We don't claim an empty market. We focus on the work that stays hard in complex behavioral health.

Where we start

Teams that receive patients with long, complex histories: hospitals, residential, community and specialty programs, and private practices. The first tasks are a complex intake and a treatment summary across disciplines, each with a clear point where the work is done.

How it grows

From the transitions inside one program to deep coordination between programs, community teams and hospitals, as the patient permissions portal and EHR integration move from our roadmap into use.

How we judge progress

By adoption, useful outcomes and the time clinicians spend reviewing drafts. We share results when the organizations we work with agree to it.
